David Goins, CFP®
Dave has been a financial advisor since 1993, having been associated with major New York wirehouses and a large Midwest based firm before establishing Goins Wealth Strategies in 2009. He is a 1984 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served eight years as a naval officer. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities licenses as well as Life, Health, and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses. Dave is an Investment Advisor Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner*.
Service, competency, experience, and ongoing education are indispensable components to the relationships Dave shares with clients. He strives to understand all aspects of the financial lives of clients and employs a comprehensive planning process to provide solutions and resources that are in the best interest of the client.
Dave is a member of the Board of Directors of Memorial Health Foundation and also volunteers as a U.S. Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer, providing information and conducting admissions interviews with Columbus area candidates to the Naval Academy.
On the home front, Dave is very proud of his wife, Teresa, and education administrator, and adult children Kyle and Regan.
Kyle Goins, CFP®
Kyle is a 2013 graduate of Capital University and has been a member of the firm since working on a part-time basis during college. He has held the FINRA Series 7 and 66 Securities licenses as well as Ohio Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licenses since 2013. Kyle is an Investment Advisor Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network® and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner*.
In addition to being extensively involved in the financial planning, asset management, and client review processes, Kyle also manages office operations.
Kyle is an alumni of the Union County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute and is active in both the Union County and Dublin Chamber’s Young Professionals groups. An avid golfer, Kyle is devoted to fitness and umpires youth travel baseball. He also enjoys volunteering as a marshal at the Memorial Golf Tournament at Muirfield Village.
